Set outside of the Local Development Framework, this project was a developer lead exception site of 10 affordable dwellings.
This scheme comprised of mixed units for rent and shared ownership - each compliant to EcoHomes 'Very Good' standard.
The development's infrastructure was extended to allow for further development beyond the site bounday, including both highway and drainage built to adoptable standards, and provision were made for utilities to be extended.
Traditional materials were combined with modern methods of construction to enable dwellings which were both sustainable, yet in-keeping with the local vernicular.
